Silver

Last night, before I went to bed, I found myself plucking gray hairs from my head.

How sad am I????

  3. Trust me when I say Jill is right! I first found a grey hair when I was 15, and plucked the first few. Now at 25, I have a fairly noticable streak... at least they are all in the same area. Most people ask if I've dyed my hair that way! ;)

  4. OK--I'm old enough to have a few gray hairs and with my dh... it is no surprise :) I'll stop plucking, as long as I don't find really noticable ones before Reno!!

Anyway, my friend Deb promised me some henna dye that just dyes the gray. So I'm hoping she hasn't forgotten her poor woebegone little friend in Canada :) Though my brother is gonna wonder what the heck he is bringing out here!!!!

  5. Jillian -- wasn't it the Mallen streak in Catherine Cookson novels...you could pretend to have had a really frightening experience as a child that gave you that mark :)

  9. Henna successfully passed onto said brother yesterday. It doesn't just target the grey but gives an overall sheen with the colour having the most impact on the grey hairs. Use half of the colour even though it says use it all! (Another English/Nat Am thing is grey and gray...)

  10. I think maybe I just can't spell Deb!!! In my head it has always been gray--even though my dad gets on my case LOL!! Probably because I had a teacher called Mr Gray and it stuck :)

    Kim--no beard--not yet ;-)

  11. I have them, too, and I'm only 30! Unfortunately, they're right at the crown of my head...why do they pop up in the most noticeable spots???
