Brad Pitt

Brad is in Winnipeg--Hallilujah!! :) Only for a couple of days, shooting a scene for his latest movie in the Exchange District (where I haven't been yet BTW). DH suggested I pop down there, just in case. I guess if I drag the kids down there and grow my hair a bit, walk on stilts and paint on extra scary thick lips he might be fooled into thinking it's Angelina for a nanosecond. Maybe he'll be impressed by my intelligence because I am probably one of the few(ish) people who know what a nanosecond is :D Maybe not :(

Who cares, Brad within a 10 mile radius and I believe that makes me famous by association :)

  4. Can I be be famous, too? He's been in Edmonton for the last while filming at Fort Edmonton Park and I used to live in Edmonton and I went to school with a boy named Brad and I have an armpit. 2, actually and well, can I be famous too? ;) AND

  9. I confess I've never been any good at being a groupie. Even in St Andrews with its zillions of famous people!! The only time I saw Prince William was passing on a street corner in the pouring rain with me looking bedraggled and the kids moaning. I didn't even realize it was him till too late to catch his eye. LOL.

  10. I think my only brush with celebrity was when I was in high school and we took a trip to L.A. I talked to Tom Selleck's limo driver. LOL!

I have to agree that Eric Bana was DIVINE in Troy. And Brad wasn't too bad, either! ;-)

  11. Holy crap! You saw Prince William! I've never seen a royal in person. My sister has always been a fan of the royals and I remember her saying when the Queen made a visit to our humble country years and years ago, the only thing my sister saw was the Queen's hand as she waved to the crowd. You know, that famous "I'm the Queen of England" wave.

  12. Peggy--LOL, I've never seen the Queen, but I have seen Prince Charles when I was little(er) and William and even had dinner with Princess Anne (and a couple hundred other people :)) BUT I did get to sit next to the guy in charge of her security in Glasgow--he was a hoot although as I said to my friend Mary sitting next to me, we'd be the first to go should anybody attack her.
