Pride and Prejudice

Just because she's gorgeous and I've heard great things about him, and I want to see it, though won't!!! I'll get the DVD and hopefully see the 2 endings people have been talking about. What's all this about Americans needing sugary endings???

  1. She is beautiful. I'll probably see it on DVD too - don't get to the movies much. And I don't have to have a sugary ending - honest. If the ending of the actual book (and no, I haven't read it - shame on me)isn't sugary, then the movie should be the same way.

  3. Yeah, too pretty! Elizabeth was a simple looking girl. Though I never liked the Elizabeth either in the Colin Firth version. But, no other Darcy but Mr. Firth, for me thank you very much. Though I will see it. Whether theatres or home video. Not a Jane Austen production I miss. Love 'em!

  4. She's a really good actress too--but yes Elizabeth was supposed to be plain not exotic. And Colin Firth is my favourite too--by I'll give the new guy a chance ;-)

  5. I'm looking forward to seeing it, too! Although I'm wondering...how do you even begin to replace Colin Firth??? :-)

  6. P & P is directed by the same people as Love Actually, so that's enough to get me to watch it right there. I hope its just as good. :)

  7. Wait a minute - I just saw who was in this - Matthew MacFadyen - from "MI:5" ("Spooks" in UK). I love him - I definitely have to see this movie now.
