Bad dog

This is my new wallpaper. Usually I have this great picture of my dog but he annoyed me yesterday (ate a shoe for the first time ever) and I needed more inspiration for Storm Warning to get this baby finished and out the door.

See how dark and mysterious Eric Bana looks here--that's the image I want for Ben Foley.

And did you see CSI-NY last night :) What a finish!!! I wouldn't want to cross Stella. Writing day today--must get on :)

  3. Sorry, but I glad your dog annoyed you because this way I get to see this great picture of Eric Bana! ;)

    CSI-NY was fantastic last night!

    Good luck with your writing.

  4. Dennie--I love getting them out the door. Just wish it was fulltime school--though I'll miss them when they are gone--maybe ;-)

Susan and Sandra-glad you approve. Dog still driving me nuts. Must give him a chew.

I am now starting writting. Now darn it!!!

  5. Um, did you want to make sure that I got nothing done today because I would keep coming back here to drool?

Dennie - I have this picture of a quarter of a kid running around. LOL

  6. Oooh, posted over you, which of course you won't see because you're writing now, right? *gg*

  8. Okay, I'm the odd one out here I guess, 'cause the only reason I know Eric Bana exists is through Toni's blog. At the risk of sounding completely out of touch, is he an actor?

Too bad about the shoe. :/

  9. Okay, okay. I googled him and yes, I recognize him from Troy. Incidentally, I like his looks better when he's sporting a beard.

  10. Meretta, Have you not watched 'Black Hawk Down'?

I like the smooth cheeks though he's a lovey in Troy. All that curly hair!

Hmm... still annoyed about the shoe though it was last year's sandal so...

    Eve--drooling is good for you--honest :)

Was I productive. Editing 120 pages from the hardcopy I went over last week. I felt I could have done more, although I only really had 3 hours of peace :)

  11. Oooh! Good job on the edits, Toni! And I *loved* Blackhawk Down, but it's been so long since I've seen it. Perhaps, this is a perfect reason to put it on my Ziplist? Ah ha! Off to do that now!

  12. Meretta--it was his deep southern accent when I knew he was an Aussie that did it for me :)

    Kendra--where have you been???

  13. Great job on the edits!

  14. Glad you got so much done. Look at the shoe thing as an excuse to buy a new pair, good doggie!

  15. Bad, bad doggy! But such a nicer replacement. :-)

  16. I can see why you would use his face for inspiration. That's a great idea, one that I see other writers doing too, using a model as inspiration.

  17. Thanks Eve--I did a bunch more in the evening so I finally felt satisfied!

Brandy. Yeah, I know. They were DD's sandals though--bless her little heart. I just bought her new shoes on Saturday so we'll see if we can last without sandals for a while :)

Scott if I have a visual it means I don't need to go back and search through my notes for descriptions. I do have to check eye color sometimes and you're right, it is a common writer's tool and very effective.
