Toys

Ha ha ha--I did it. At least on my machine the skin now looks good. Blame it on Michael Anderson for making my blogskin look fat :)

Wow--I'm LOVING my new toys. Thanks Sandra!!! Check out my map. I see a dot in Argentina--probably my friend and old flat-mate Julie. I see Switzerland--I'm assuming Janny, but I do have another friend there too. I see the in-laws in Scotland and Deb in Shropshire. Could be missing people, but these are the obvious ones. I see Eve in Texas, Rene in Cal. Is that Susan up in Nevada? Scott in NE. The rest of my US geography isn't good enough to sort everybody else out--at least not without some caffeine. Here's waving to all the Canadians, Peggy, Meretta, Loreth, Laurie--anybody else??

And note the temps--we had 19C today? It is just amazing how this climate rockets from one extreme to the other--I have bulbs coming up!! Hopefully the Red River will stay in its bed and we don't have a late snowfall.

Just have to share this before I go--I decided to plant some seeds today (Monday), so I pulled on my gardening gloves and started poking holes, when I felt something smooth and hard move against my fingernail. I whipped off that baby and inside was this massive black garden beetle.
Yuck.

OK--it could have been worse, but I do HATE bugs!!!

Oh gross! I don't like bugs either.

I love the map! I'm really itching to change my blog, but I figure it's because the 3 month anniversary is coming up - you know, I've had 3 blogs in 9 months (averages out to 3 months per blog - figured that out on my own). And some people say I'm too tired to think straigt :P

Wait - I just yawned. Could it be - naw, it's only 1:25 a.m., can't possibly be tired before 2:00 :O

I love the weather map. Can't have it on mine 'cause I'm still running Windows 98 SE. Yup. This is me stuck in the stone ages over in Cold Lake.

I'm all right with bugs, just as long as they aren't millipedes, centipedes or fast spiders. Anything that moves fast is not good! Caterpillars move at an acceptable speed. ;)

I was going to tell her that Dennie - and Susie's there too.

Toni- This site is looking so good. I almost didn't recognize it. So pretty much the rest of the day will be spent trying to figure out how to get myself on the map.
Thanks again for the books. I just finished Devlin and the Dep Blue Sea by Merline Lovelace. A may Desire. So I'm in a Merline frame of mind

Thanks you again ladies. I am easily amused as you can see!. Texas now has a big dot :) Is that where dots converge? Hmm--in that case who else in Vancouver is reading???

Big brother indeed!!!

Meretta--map madness together :)

Christa, you're welcome about the books--glad they arrived.

Susan--I'll be looking tomorrow for Penn. It'll be interesting to see if anyone is close to me--I doubt it :)

And I know I'm obsessing and I should be editing!! But...France??? Who is in France? And is that Stu or Jill in Belgium? I can see this map wasn't a good idea LOL!!!

You're so welcome Toni :) I LOVE your new site look, it's just awesome :)

I have way too much fun with these maps and weathers etc. It's great to see where our readers are from. On mine I have people in Malaysia, India, Korea, South Africa (family), Brazil, New Zealand etc LOL

Now if my daughter had been there, she would have immediately snatched up the bug and put it in a Tupperware container, then put in grass, leaves, and dirt to make the bug "comfy." :-)

Ah yes Melissa--I have already liberated 4 ladybirds this week. :)

My geography may not be up to much but wow who is blogging in from South East Asia - looks like Malaysia/Philapines (don't want to be boring with Singapore...) but that neck of the woods.

Great lucking site hun.

Mary--that's why my Texas Dot is so big!! I have Eve, Dennie and you there!

Gotta love Texas. :)

Deb--I was speculating, without getting the map out that it was Vietnam, but now I'm not sure. You should know more than me!!
