Grey

Temperature is rising for one day!!! Tomorrow is back to being less than -30C Brrhh. Sick of winter. Roll on summer and heat. And green. I get awfully fed up of looking out the windows at white (snow) and grey (wood).

Some kids keep telling me trees are brown. Why is that? When the tree in front of you is patently grey? Anyway, it wasn't my kids ;) They are way too smart--LOL.

  1. Is it not amazing how hot he was in BJD, and how not he was in The English Patient?

I didn't even realize it was the same person for part of it!

  4. I HATED the English Patient. Talk about dull. The only part I liked was Juliette Binoche and Naveen Andrews. The rest was pompous BS.

Sorry about your weather. Guess I won't complain about mine.

  7. More ice expected here in the next few days. I'm expecting some patches on the way to work this morning.

Okay, now I'm going to ask the idiot question but since I don't know what BJD is nor have I seen The English Patient - who is that gorgeous man?

  9. Colin Firth :) Not a stupid question. And BJD is Bridget Jone's Diary. And if you haven't seen that you need a whack on the behind with a big stick ;) Watch out for that ice. I hate that.

Diane--But you've been having big storms I've been watching :/

  11. Sigh...that's a lovely picture of Colin Firth. Yum.

I saw the English patient but only remember the parts with Juliete Binoche. I loved her in Chocolat, too.

It's warming up a bit here - good, because we need to melt some of this snow!

  12. Oh, I know Colin Firth - I just didn't recognize him.

And I haven't seen Bridget Jones' Diary. So are you going to come here personally and whack me? *gg*

  13. I said you needed one--I never said I was the woman to give it to you ;) More the male of your choice ;O

They are good books and films--even if you hate Rene--you'll like her in this ;)

  14. I have nothing against Rene. And I love Hugh Grant. I've just never had the opportunity. I haven't watched a lot of movies in the last couple of years and there's no place (that anybody who loves me would want me to step foot in) around here to rent them. Maybe it'll come into the bookstore.
