Crocodile Research

My dearest friend Craig Franklin from the University of Queensland was interviewed on CBC's Quirks and Quarks all about crocodile research. It is fascinating stuff.

I won't mention that Craig is a kiwi. Or that both the All Blacks and Australia got knocked out by France and England in the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup. cough. Did I say I wouldn't mention it?

    Loved that picture of Craig!
Don't know how you got away with not mentioning the rugby....Richard wore his England shirt on Sunday and didn't have a single egg thrown at him. I think the Kiwi's took it badly though...Joe cried when Australia lost :-(

  2. LOL, Toni - you are so bad. But I like that about you *g* Cool picture. Not much into science because it's usually over my head, but I'm going to check out the interview anyway.

  3. I love Quirks and Quarks. Actually, I love most of CBC's radio programming. Are you watching The Tudors? I've been PVRing it, but have caught bits here and there. And bits I mean. There seems to be a fair amount of nudity.

  4. Julie--I would have loved to have seen it, but not the tears. They can have the cup for Joe's tears!

    Stacy. Ahem. Bad? Me?? LOL.

Meretta--OMG. What a great program. I am PVRing it too. Very well done. Very sexy. Very interesting. Not to mention JRM :)

  6. Kudos to your friend.

But that picture really threw me! LOL I thought to myself, how can he do research on crocodiles in the snow?

    I'm special. :P

  7. LOL. He also works in the Antarctic on fish.

Winnipeg is sometimes colder (except in the southern winter of course but then people generally leave the Antarctic for habitable places)

  8. I watched The Tudors on Friday. Thought it was great. Fingers crossed for the rugby. The Welsh are devastated so I've been keeping quiet about my English blood. *gg*

  9. The poor welsh! I have ancient welsh blood. Princes apparently LOL. I guess it might explain my coloring. We'll cheer for England anyway Siobhan.
