Jennifer Love Hewitt

Did you all see this controversy? I saw it on the cover of People and then checked out Jennifer's blog.

This makes me so angry. The woman is gorgeous. No one in their right mind would think she was anything but. I'd like to see all the photographers/critics standing in bikinis next to her--all rowed up. Cheeky sods.

What are they trying to encourage? Tooth picks? Unhealthiness? Positive body image? Not the latter, I don't think.

Or are they just trying to belittle people with more integrity and confidence than they'll ever have?

  1. There has been much reported on this in the entertainment industry this week. I am glad that she is firing back at the supposed journalists who were calling her fat!

  2. Seriously, I can't understand why the media is so intent to call someone fat. I agree, each one of them should be forced to stand beside her for full inspection.

  3. Yes, I did see this, and Jennifer has my respect for fighting back. Good for her. She is a lovely, sweet, talented young woman who is celebrating her engagement - people just want to rip apart anything happy and positive. I'm glad to see she's not letting them.

  4. I had heard of it, but hadn't seen the picture until now. I don't see anything wrong with her body. She looks great. I'm tired of the stick figures in Hollywood. I'm glad she's firing back at them.

  5. Good for Jennifer!!! So what if she's not pencil-thin? She's a healthy, happy, NORMAL girl. I hope more actresses look to her for inspiration and stop this whole trend of being thin, thin, thin, to the point that our young girls (as young as 7!) do not worry about being "fat."

  6. I have to say this photo surprised me. I didn't see who it was at first, and when I saw it was JLH, I couldn't believe it. I think it's just mean spirited to post a photo of anyone that is this unflattering. Where is the respect? The decency? Good for Jennifer to be proud of who she is and not what she looks like.

  7. I should have said it was mean to take the photo and sell it, not for you to put it on your blog! The person that passed this along should be ashamed.

  8. I hadn't heard, but OMG! She looks wonderful. How can they call her otherwise?
